Emergency First Aid Training provides comprehensive training covering core aspects of first aid and CPR. Emergency First Aid is designed for those who require a more lite understanding of first aid including: legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, medical emergencies, and includes CPR-C certification.

Pre-Course Requirements: None, but candidate must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline.
Course Aim: To provide candidates with a lite version of First Aid training required to manage an emergency situation effectively with the aim of preventing situations from becoming worse and maintaining life until help arrives.
This qualification is aimed at those who wish to become first aiders in the workplace who will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations.
Assessment: Continual assessment of practical skills by observation + final multi-choice question paper & practical skills assessment.
Assessment method: Multiple-choice questionnaire and continuous formative assessment plus theory assessment.
Course Outline: 1 Apex First Aid course conforms with regulation 1101 guidelines, provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
